A partir
Abstract
Our thesis, of exploratory nature, focuses on the demonstration in the teaching
in the Pedagogical Regional Centers (CPR) in particular. According to G. Hanna
(1983, p.26): "there is no consensus today among mathematicians as to what
constitutes an acceptable proof, and there never has been"
Our first aim was then to elaborate a modal of analysis of a demonstration in
flat geometry. From some researches in mathematical didactic taking the same
thesis, of a historical study of the demonstration and of our experience as
a formative in the CPR, we were able to elaborate a modall of analysis of a
demonstration in flat geometry . This comprises six subsets.
Our second aim was to apply this analysis modal in the CPR. The this end we
took three geometrical exercises as a support to the application of this modal,
with four trainers in geometry and didactic. We told them to produce two demonstrations
for every exercise, one for them, and the other intended to their class, while
taking interviews with them about the demonstration in the CPR
We have then applied analysis modal to everyone of these twenty four demonstrations.
On the one hand modal application is shown to be incomplete. On the other hand,
it has revealed that the activity of demonstration primarily aimed to render
the functional "knowledge" taught and this, while respecting, in general
some criteria relied to the plan and to the demonstration method, to the geometrical
method, to the mathematical vocabulary and to symbols
